2019 Kia Sportage LX Review
What's New for the 2019 Kia Sportage LX?
The 2019 Kia Sportage is the latest in Kia vehicles to be made ready for customers and the newest to the line of Sportage model cars. The new Kia Sportage is part of the fourth generation of vehicles to be made for its lineup, though the Sportage series itself was first introduced back in 1993. Over the years since its debut, the Sportage has remained steady as a compact SUV with more spacious interiors and off-road capabilities. Over time the Sportage has also had its exterior redesigned to give it a smoother look.
The 2019 Kia Sportage has a ton of new features included, along with better interior decorations, comfort settings and upgrades in the interior. The new 2019 edition has only seen a few minor changes since the model from the previous year, such as having a more attractive dashboard layout and more spacious seating. As far as the car performance goes, it has a 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission and a front wheel drive train with inline 4 cylinders inside the engine. Speaking of the engine, it can put out a modest 181 horsepower rating and create up to 175 feet by pounds of total torque. The exterior has some options for anyone looking to upgrade it, including mudguards, a tow hitch, crossbars, and even new wheel locks. The interior of the vehicle also comes with a wide set of options such as having carpet floor mats, a cargo cover, a cargo tray and auto-dimming mirrors with a Homelink setting and a compass. The seats are decorated in cloth for the simpler trim models, but more advanced ones have leather added to them and the front seats have height adjustment settings, 6-way, and 4-way manual seating adjustments and multi-level heating. Other comfort interior features include the standard air conditioning, though other models have climate control settings. Cruise control with electric power steering and keyless ignition are also included here.
